Corferias and Koelnmesse

One of the objectives of the alliance, sealed in the middle of 2015, is to convert Colombia into a strategic location in Latin America for the leverage of international fairs in packaging sector.
The intervention of the german fair organizing, Koelnmesse, will allow Colombia’s business projection in business inside Andean, Central America and Caribbean sectors.

Andina Pack’s 14th edition, which will take place from November 7 to 10 in Corferias, will be the first in count with the strategic alliance of the german corporation Koelnmesse, recognized as the #1 fair organizer in the world for more than 25 commercial sectors, which objective is to convert Colombia in a strategic location for leverage the international fairs.

“Counting with Koelnmesse’s support gives to the international exhibitors and buyers the clarity that they will find in Andina Pack the worldwide leaders in packaging sector. Besides, because of the strategic location of the country in South America, we can have more range and impact towards the region’s buyers”, said the project boss of Andina Pack, Doris Chingaté.

The alliance between both fair organizers was created in the middle of 2015 in order to increase Colombia’s competence in packaging industry and impulse the country for obtaining the “hub” status in America.

Additionally, Corferias and Koelnmesse’s union will strength the call of international exhibitors, which will permit to professional buyers obtain qualified contacts and solutions to their necessities.

Currently, Koelnmesse is the main exhibition center of approximately 25 economy sectors in the world. For them, the company organizes more than 80 fairs of leader samples in all the world. Among their prominent projects, they have Anuga FoodTec fair, the worldwide leader encounter of food and drink sector.
