Andina Pack Attractive processing and packaging platform with more exhibitors than ever

The international packaging food tech and processing industry will once again be meeting up at Andina Pack in Bogotá (Colombia) from 19 to 22 November 2019. The Andean region’s largest and most important trade fair for the Food, Pharma and Cosmetic industry is on course to mark the 15^th version by selling a new record of more than 526 exhibitors from 27 different countries. As such, the Andean region’s largest trade fair for converting, packaging and processing industry will exceed the record number of exhibitors set in 2017. Andina Pack 2019 is presenting an array of technological innovations from the entire spectrum of the food, beverage and pharma industry, offering an excellent business networking platform to exhibitors and trade visitors addressing relevant topics in the industry and showcasing the latest trends in products, equipment and systems.

Top exhibitors from Colombia and well-known international manufacturers and suppliers from 27 countries and 10 pavilions, including Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, the Czech Republic, China, Finland, Germany, India, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, Turkey and the USA, will participate in the event. Renowned exhibitors like Robert Bosch, Heuft, Milliken, Multivac, PMMI, J.W. Winco, Kliklok Woodman, Smurfit Kappa, Tesa Tape (Beiersdorf AG) and ULMA will present their new products and solutions. Andina Pack is jointly organised by Corferias and Koelnmesse GmbH. The fair organisers anticipate an increase in the number of trade visitors from its latest version in 2017 where 18,062 visitors from Colombia and the neighboring countries came to Andina Pack. “The growth of Andina Pack’s key figures clearly shows that the fair concept is convincing. Central business platform for the latest industry trends and innovations

Andina Pack 2019, as the central meeting point for the processing and packaging industry in the region, will offer an extensive event and conference programme in cooperation with the Asociación Colombiana de Ciencia y Tecnología de Alimentos (ACTA) and the Instituto Argentino del Envase. In keeping with the concept of “Andina Pack as the Expression of an Intelligent Industry”, specialised programmes, such as the “Packaging and Processing Summit” and various conferences and workshops will focus on a broad range of relevant topics related to the industry. The event and conference programme foster the exchange of ideas and provides participants with valuable insights into the latest innovations. The “Packaging and Processing Summit” is a four-day forum presenting recent developments in food packaging, sustainability and the circular economy, as well as regulation. Its focus will be on the industry’s increasing challenge revolving around innovation for a sustainable future. Renowned guest speakers from all over the world, including from the “World Packaging Organization” and the “Instituto Argentino del Envase”, will be present on stage. In the “Innovation Zone”, 20 of the most important industry innovations will be showcased. The “Save Food Workshop” will present strategies and ideas for sustainable packaging. Speakers Corner will also share their thoughts and information on consumer experiences and demands for the next generation of packaging.
