The Fourth Industrial Revolution arrives at the pavilions of the XV version of Andina P

Achieving total independence of human labor in production processes, through high-tech machines, is the current trend of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, one of the big bets of the XV version of Andina Pack, which will be held from November 19th to 22nd in Corferias.

Proof of this is the company Soluciones Técnicas Alimentarias, which arrives at the fair with machines capable of automating industrial processes such as: continuous and intermittent bag filling systems, equipment for processing cocoa beans and the processing of chocolate, intelligent machines for packaging of pesticides with water-soluble foil, commercial mixers and packaging machines for thermo shrinkers and other products.

The food industry in Colombia has shown an important growth, according to ANDI data, this sector registered in 2018 an increase of 4.72% in exports and 8% in imports compared to the previous year. In addition, the increase in food GDP between 2017 and 2018 was 3%, that is, 21.32 billion pesos.

It should be noted that visitors can not only witness the operation of the highest technology machines, but also make business contacts and relationships that strengthen their brand in the Andean Region, throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, with the most important actors of this important sector in which “three times what was invested during the first decade of the 21st century has been invested in the last 10 years.” According to  Javier Rincón, project coordinator of the Food Technical Solutions company.
